A surgical blade used in Hijama (cupping therapy) is a small, sharp tool designed for making tiny, controlled incisions on the skin. These incisions are made to allow the removal of small amounts of blood during wet cupping therapy, which is believed to help remove toxins from the body and improve circulation.
Usage:-
Ensure the area of skin where the Hijama will be performed is clean and disinfected.
If the blade is not pre-attached to a handle, carefully attach it to a compatible handle.
Use the blade to make small, shallow cuts on the skin where the cups will be applied. These cuts should be just deep enough to allow blood to flow, but not so deep as to cause excessive bleeding.
After use, carefully remove the blade from the handle (if applicable) and dispose of it in a proper sharps container.
After making the incisions, place the cupping cups over the area to create suction and draw out the blood.
Once the cups are removed, clean the area again and cover with a sterile dressing if needed.
